“Just a few years ago I couldn’t form a sentence. I often mispronounced words, but now I’m really good at English”
St. Mary’s student“I used to think in Ukrainian, but now mostly when I think about something, I’m speaking in English”
St. Mary’s studentOur daughter has been learning English with Maryna since her first year at school. Now we’re already in our fourth year. The lessons are interesting and fly by. Every area gets enough attention, both grammar and speaking. We’ve now moved to a mini-group, although at first we preferred one-to-one lessons. But what we liked about the group is that the children can talk to each other, not just to the teacher. It turned out that talking with classmates in the lesson is more interesting and really motivates them to prepare for it. Thank you for your interesting teaching method!
Parents of a student
We really like the lessons, they’re really fun and easy, not like at school. The programme is explained really well. We really enjoy learning English with you.

Dear Maryna! You are an incredible teacher. When I started having lessons with you, it was a real breakthrough in learning English. I’ve improved my level considerably and I still enjoy every lesson. There’s always a wonderful atmosphere in class, and you explain everything so well. I’m delighted with you. Thank you so much.

The best and the most comfortable, for children and adults alike, our whole family is delighted. We’ve been with you for almost a year and are happy to carry on together. It’s so cool when you see results, when you understand a native speaker and, most importantly, they understand you too. You are the best teacher! We wish you and your school incredible luck and success!
A family of students
Maryna knows her profession brilliantly and knows how to get her students interested in the language. She always comes to lessons well prepared, and they are superbly organised. Her explanations are always clear and accessible, which makes it quick and easy to take in new material. She creates a friendly and supportive atmosphere in class, which makes learning more enjoyable. Her approach to teaching English helps develop speaking skills. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a talented and engaging teacher!

Questions and answers
From what age can you start learning English?
From age 4. For pre-schoolers aged 4-6, lessons are built around games, songs, movement and repetition. After that there are programmes for younger schoolchildren aged 6-10 and teenagers aged 11-17, and adults learn from A1 to C2.
Can I start from scratch?
Yes. Beginners start with basic vocabulary, pronunciation, simple grammar structures and everyday conversation. Neither children nor adults need any prior knowledge.
How do I find out my level of English?
Before you start, we assess your level. We define levels using the international CEFR scale: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, from basic knowledge to fluency. We then choose a programme based on the result.
How many students are in a group, and how long is a lesson?
There are 3-6 students in a group. A lesson lasts 60 minutes, 2-4 times a week.
Which is better: one-to-one or group lessons?
One-to-one lessons let you focus on your personal goals and pace. Group lessons let you interact with other students and practise dialogues. The choice depends on your goals, schedule and budget.
How much do lessons cost?
Group lessons cost from 450 UAH and one-to-one lessons from 1,000 UAH per 60 minutes. The trial lesson is free.
Is there a free trial lesson?
Yes, the trial lesson is free. Send an enquiry on the website and we’ll contact you to arrange a time and format.
Where is the school?
In Chernivtsi, at 71 Heroiv Maidanu Street, in the Maidan shopping centre. Opening hours: Mon-Fri 8:00-20:00, Sat-Sun 9:00-19:00.
Can I study online from another city?
Yes, online lessons are available throughout Ukraine. You need a stable internet connection and a computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone.
Do you prepare children and teenagers for Cambridge exams?
Yes, we prepare students for Cambridge English Qualifications from Pre-A1 Starters to C2 Proficiency. We choose the exam according to age, level and goals, after assessing the student’s knowledge.
How long does it take to prepare for IELTS?
It depends on your starting level, the score you’re aiming for, the time until the exam and how regularly you study. First we assess your skills in all four parts of the exam: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. No course can guarantee a score, but systematic preparation helps you develop the skills you need and master the format.
Do you prepare students for the English tests of the NMT (Ukraine’s National Multi-Subject Test) and the EVI (Ukraine’s Unified Entrance Exam for master’s programmes)?
Yes. Preparation covers the current test format, grammar, vocabulary, reading and practice with typical tasks. If your English is weak, the plan combines revisiting the basics with practising the exam format.
Who is Business English for, and can you train a company’s team?
Business English suits specialists, managers, entrepreneurs and teams who use English at work: correspondence, meetings, presentations, negotiations. For a company, we put together a programme tailored to the number of participants, their level, professional needs and schedule.
